If you choose to offer licensing your film for events, your hosts will have the option to make their event free for their audience by paying a licensing fee upfront. We provide you wilt a recommended rate card in your licensing agreement, broken down by screening host type and audience size. However, you are welcome to customize it.

To customize your rate card, contact your Kinema rep or email films@kinema.com.

To find your current rate card, follow these steps:

Log into your Kinema account.

Click your initials in the upper right-hand corner.

Select My Films or go to kinema.com/manage/my-films.

Select your Organization.

Click the film title you want to review the licensing rates for.

From your Onboarding Overview, click the Pricing tile.

This is where you will find the revenue shares reflected in your agreement, as well as the standard rate card for titles like yours.

The rates for each type of screening host will look something like this:

You can also find these rates in your original licensing agreement, displayed like this:

You have complete flexibility to change the Name of the Screening Host type, Audience Size, and Licensing Fee for each. However, you cannot go lower than $.50 per person at the highest end of that group.

For example, for a non-profit audience of 1-50 people, cannot be less than $50.

To customize your rate card, contact your Kinema rep or email films@kinema.com.

To understand how your screening hosts select their rate, please visit this support article for hosts.
