How to change your audience capacity for both licenced and ticketed events

Log into your Kinema account.

Click your initials in the upper right-hand corner.

Select Screenings

Scroll down to the Screening Event you want to edit.

Click Manage Screening

This is your Screening Management Dashboard.

On the upper left side, you'll find your Event Summary.

Find Capacity, and click on the pencil to edit.

You will see the previously set Capacity.

To change the Capacity, click into the box and enter the updated number.

Click Update

If your event is ticketed, your adjustment is complete.

Click Complete Change.

You will be notified that your capacity has been updated.

If your event is licensed, and if your increase in audience capacity moves you up a category in the licensing pricing, you will receive a prompt to pay the difference in the licensing rate to upgrade.

To see the change in fee, type in the updated capacity and click Update.

It will look something like this:

To accept the charge, click Complete Change.

Your card will then be billed, and your audience cap will increase to the input amount.

You're done!

At this time we do not provide refunds for if you lower your capacity. We recommend you put in the conservative expected audience size at the time of booking, as you can always increase.
