Email Notifications for Audiences

These are the emails audience members receive after getting a ticket to a screening event.

As the host of the event, you will receive email notifications for the following:

Ticket Confirmation: Whether you buy a ticket or RSVP to a free event, you will receive an email confirming your ticket(s). The information will vary slightly based on the type of screening event; In-person, Live Virtual or On-demand.

Stripe Receipt: If your screening event had a ticket price, you will receive a receipt from our payment provider Stripe with the details of your purchase.

Live Virtual Cinema Open: 30 minutes before the start of your Live Virtual event, you will receive an email notification indicating that the virtual cinema is now open.

On-demand Viewing Window Open: The viewing window for your on-demand event is now open. Once you start the film, you have 24 hours to finish it.

Survey: After your screening event ends, or the viewing window closes, you will receive an email asking for your feedback on your experience and the film.

Email notifications will come from hello@kinema.com. If you do not receive an email after booking an event, please first check your spam for that email address before informing us.
