How to access your Reporting and Payouts

A Step by Step Guide: How to Access Your Reports:

Log In to your Kinema account.

Click on your initials, in the upper right hand corner

Select Dashboard

Select the correct Organization Name in the left nav if you have multiple organizations

Click on Reports in the left hand nav. This is where you will find all your reports.

This Highlights dashboard gives you the following metrics:

  • Total number of Screenings

  • Total number of Tickets

  • Total number of Rentals

  • Gross Revenue

  • Screening Map

The default will show all metrics over time. You can select a date range and a film(s) by clicking on the filters at the top of the page to show film-specific and time-specific metrics. See example below:

The Map represents all In-person Screenings. You can click on the red locations to see more Screening details.

Screenings

Clicking on Screenings will take you to the Screenings report.

The Screenings report gives you the following metrics:

  • Film Title

  • Host Name

  • Date of Screening

  • Screening Type

  • License Type

  • Tickets Sold

  • Event Rate Card (Organization Type)

  • Gross Revenue (Total Revenue - Including Filmmaker, Host, and Kinema portion)

  • Net Revenue (Your portion of the Revenue)

  • Status (Pending, Declined, Active, Ended, Completed)

Gross Revenue and Net Revenue will be adjusted based on Status.

  • If Pending, the Net Revenue will be $0 (because transfers have not been completed)

  • Once it is Completed, then Net Revenue will include transfers so will populate

Scroll to the right to see more columns of data

Clicking on the View button will display a slide out to the right with the following information:

  • Film Title

  • Location (Virtual or In-person)

  • Date and Time

  • Organization or Host Name

  • Private or Public

  • Screening Status (Upcoming, In-progress, or Completed)

  • Tickets Sold

  • Screening Type: Licensed or Ticketed Screening

  • If Licensed Screening

    • License Tier: Type, Number of Seats, Price

    • Filmmaker % of Revenue Share

  • If Ticketed Screening

    • Ticket Price

    • Total Revenue

    • Filmmaker % Revenue Share

    • Promo Code applied (in percentage or flat rate

Clicking on View Attendees will provide a list of all attendees who have shared contact information with the Host.

Clicking on View Order will display the order details (Date, Name, Quantity of Tickets, and Amount of Order).

You can click on Download CSV to access a CSV file of all attendees.

You can click on the Filters button at the top of the screenings page to view all filters: Date Range, Films, Hosts, Screening Types (In-person, Virtual, On-demand), Licensed Types (Licensed or Ticketed). Selecting filters will drill down the reports by Date Range, Film, Host, Screening Type, and/or License Type.

You can click on Export to view download a CSV file of your data.

You can also click on the Column button to deselect columns.

Rentals

Clicking on Rentals will take you to the Rentals report.

The Rentals report gives you the following metrics:

  • Film Title

  • Renter Name

  • Email address

  • Price of rental

  • Discount applied

  • Net Revenue

You can click on the Filters at the top of the page to view all filters: Date Range, Films, and Renters. Selecting filters will drill down the reports by Date Range, Film, and Renter.

You can also click on Export to view download a CSV file of your data.

Payouts

Clicking on Payouts will take you to the payouts report.

The payouts report gives you the following metrics:

  • Date Payout was Processed on

  • Date Payout arrived

  • Amount of Payout

  • Currency

  • Status of Payout (Paid, Pending, In Transit, Canceled, Failed)

You can click on the date range filter to specify the date of payouts.

You can also click on the Column button to deselect columns.

Clicking on the View button under Action will provide a slideout to the right with the Payment breakdown including Amount, Currency, Exchange Rate, Status and Project. Clicking on the Project will take you to the Film Page.

Data - this is in Beta and you will need to contact your Kinema representative for audience location data.
