Tips on promoting your Event!

Welcome to your Host Promotion Guide, which is chock-full of helpful tips so you can host the best event possible! Whether this is your first time hosting with us or your 20th, we are delighted to have you as part of the Kinema community. Let’s get started!

Making your event unique

  • Customize your event page to make it fun and your own!

  • Dive into the details - Why you're hosting, hyperlink to resources, anything you want your guests to know! P.S. You can do this all in your Kinema Account (the one you used to create the event) in the manage screening section.

  • Come up with a #hashtag for your unique event.

Share Marketing Materials

In your Event Management Dashboard you will find Promotional materials from the Filmmaker you can use for marketing your event.

Invite your guests!

  • Get out your old Rolodex, Black Book, list of contacts and create your invite list.

  • You can use Social Media, email, text, or even carrier pigeon - just get the word out!

  • Make sure to use your personalized event link.

  • If your event is public, encourage your community to be micro influencers - this is where they share your event to their friends and family. Send them materials and make sure they use the hashtag.

  • Up your email game - and send reminders! Tell your guests about the event and why it’s important.

Communication is key!

[Add information about why you're hosting. You can also insert the movie poster or your logo to personalize your event.]

  • Get your tickets now on Kinema [Link to your event page]
